DAY 01: CUSCO – AGUAS CALIENTES

Between 9:00 – 9:30 am, the transfer goes by your acommodation and pick you up to go 2 hours by a bus to Ollantaytambo train station.

Just 05 minutes by foot from the bus stop is the train station. the train leaves 12:55 am trougth to Aguas Calientes, during the trip since Ollantaytambo 2800 msl you are gonna enjoy different wonderfull scenaries such Piscakucho (the start point of the main INCA TRAIL to Machu Picchu), and other archaeological sites such a Machu Qente, Qoriwayrachina, Torontoy, Panpacawa and how the landscapes changes to jungle landscapes. this until Aguas Calientes town 2200 msl.

In Aguas Calientes or Machupicchu Town you are gonna stay one nigth, this day you can rest or if you would like you could enjoy the orquid garden, butterflies, one archaeological museum, the hot springs or climb one hour to Putucusi mountain from where you can see and enjoy Machupicchu

DAY 02: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO

Depending at what time is your entrance to Machu Picchu you decide what time you go up to Machupicchu from Aguas Calientes, it takes 30 minutes. Bus stop is just 5 minutes by foot from the train station, your bus ticket is valid to take any bus, just make a small queue and take the bus trougth to Machu Picchu.

When you are in Machu Picchu you are free to take your time enjoying the wonder of the world,normally with guide It takes 2 hours but in this option the service doesn’t included guide service.

WHY WE DON’T INCLUDED GUIDED SERVICE?

To have a good experienced in Machupicchu you need to take your time, normally other companies included a shared guided tour (10 or 20 people) but we don’t recommed this because any time Machupicchu is full and when you are with a group:

• 1st You need to move fast to give space to another group, that means you will enjoy little
• 2nd Machu Picchu complete circuit is possible to do just one time, when you finish your circuit you can’t do it again.

These is the reasons why we don’t recommend a guided group in Machu Picchu.

21:50 Train leaves to Ollantaytambo, you need to take the train half hour in advance and when you arrive to Ollantaytambo 23:35 the transport waits for you outside train station to come back to Cusco, arriving to San Fransisco square at 1:00 am (Next Day).
