DAY 1: CUSCO – HIDROELECTRICA – AGUAS CALIENTES (Bus & Hike)

The day start picking you up in the morning from your acommodation in Cusco to go by car to Hidroeléctrica after 6 hours car ride we stop in Hidroelectrica to have a delicious lunch in the local restaurants. After Hidroelectrica starts the train tracks to Aguas Calientes. Time to get ready for 3 hours flat hike to the Aguas Calientes Town. Once in the town, we take you to the hostel for showering and relaxing after to have dinner in the city and get ready for the day in Machu Picchu.

This day you can also enjoy the Hot Spring of the town, 10 minutes by foot from the main square.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHUPICCHU – CUSCO

The grand finale! We will wake up very early this morning for our visit to Machu Picchu, where we will have a guided tour of the citadel to see and learn about temples, terraces, and all of the incredible stone structures that make Machu Picchu a Wonder of the World. For those who have previously selected to climb *Huayna Picchu Mountain or *Machu Picchu Mountain, you will do so at your designated time (1st group: 6am to 8am, 2nd group: 9am to 11am)

This day you can choose how to come back to Cusco.

First Option: Come back by Car.
It is the cheapest option, you need to leave from Machu Picchu 12:00 PM maximun, It is around three hours by foot until Hidroelectrica where the minivan is waiting to come back Cusco and arrive 10:00 PM approximately.

Second Option: Come back by Train. +65 or 85 USD Per Person
It gives to you more time to enjoy Machu Picchu, the train leaves from Aguas Calientes 18:20 PM or 21:50 PM, It is around two hours until Ollantaytambo and two hours by minivan until Cusco.

• If you leave 18:20 you arrive Cusco 10:00 PM approximately. +80 USD.
• If you leave 21:50 you arrive Cusco 01:00 AM of the next day approximately. +65 USD.

Third option: Stay one more nigth in Aguas Calientes. +20 USD Per Person

This option gives you more time to enjoy Machu Picchu, Aguas Calientes and the next day you decide how to come back Cusco (by car or by train).
